ArtEd is pleased to organize a Folk Music workshop in 'Kalakranti' 2021 Date: January 26th, 2021 Time: 5 PM IST - 6 PM IST (India Audience) & 5 PM PST - 6 PM PST (Overseas Audience) The workshop is open for Kids & Adults (Minimum age required 5 Years).All participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the workshop.   About the Teacher: The workshop will be conducted by Manojavvam Aatreya. Manojavvam is trained Hindustani Classical Musician, Playback & Folk Singer and Actor in Kannada Film Industry. He has emerged as Winner in several Kannada music reality shows. He has  performed in leading TV / Radio channels and popular stages across Karnataka & India and won the hearts with his music & acting performances. He was conferred with Karanataka State Award for his acting in Kannada film Nandadeepa in 2008. Folk Music workshop details: 1. The workshop is scheduled for 5 days.  2. Course includes introduction, history & evolution of Folk Music forms, Basics on Folk Instruments & Singing, 2-3 Popular compositions, Assignments and Interaction  3. The program will be scheduled for 60 minutes each day.  4. The sessions will be ONLINE. Participants are required to have good internet connection, Laptop (Preferred)/ Mobile/ Tab devices with good Audio / Video capabilities.  5. No materials / props/ instruments/tools will be provided by ArtEd. Participants are required to manage the required materials (If any) before the scheduled workshop. 6. The workshop will be conducted in Kannada & English 7. Details of each workshop will be shared for the registered participants separately. 8. No cancellations or refunds shall be made for the workshop. 9. Separate classes will be conducted for India & Overseas audiences.
