Yakshagana is one of the oldest & very popular performing arts from Coastal Karnataka. ArtEd is pleased to organize Yakshagana workshop in 'Kalakranti' 2021 from January 26th, 2021. The workshop is open for Kids & Adults (Minimum age required 5 Years). All participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the workshop. The workshop will be conducted by Smt. Suma Gadigehole, a Yakshagana exponent, who has decades of experience in performing & teaching. Suma has performed across India in some of the highly reputed stages and occassions and has received several awards and recognitions for her works. YAKSHAGANA Workshop Details: 1. Course includes Theory, Basics, Compositions, Literature, Dance & Taalavadya 2. The program will be scheduled for 60 minutes each day. 3. The workshop sessions will be ONLINE. Participants are required to have good internet connection, Laptop (Preferred)/ Mobile/ Tab devices with good Audio / Video capabilities. 4. No materials / props/ instruments/tools will be provided by ArtEd. Participants are required to manage the required materials (If any) before the scheduled workshop. 5. Details of each workshop will be shared for the registered participants separately. 6. No cancellations or refunds shall be made for the workshop. 7. Separate classes will be conducted for India & Overseas audiences.
